This album is a compilation of songs that I wrote last winter. A season is a long time, especially when you get a lot of snow. I can usually manage to write at least 15-20 songs over the course of a full winter because I spend so much time inside. But I don't record them all. Some songs I'll remember and others I'll forget. Usually what happens is I'll use parts of forgotten songs in new and good songs that I actually do finish writing.
I decided to put this out in April because it seemed like winter was coming to an end. Which meant spring was on its way and the songs that I write in spring would be different than those in winter.
