about

"The Land" just like White Pine was a song that I had written long ago for a protest album. This song expresses the cause and effect relationships you'll find throughout the natural world. Everything achieves balance by acting as one universal force. But then like a pillar of rusted steel in comes human intervention to throw off the balance of the land by destroying these natural worlds and building unnatural things.
Instruments: Guitar

lyrics

Over there is a tree, stands as tall as me.
Shadowing the land, lends a helping hand.
What was once a mountain bare the streets for you and I.
Over there is a lake, plenty food to take.
Nourishing the land, lends a helping hand.
What was once a mountain bare the streets we call our home.
Over there is a sparrow, sings a song of care oh.
Brings joy to the land, lends a helping hand.
What was once a mountain bare the streets for you and I.
