"White Pine" is something I wrote a while back, but my intention was always to include it in this protest collection. Its a mythical folk tale of a sacred tree that grows into space in order to be enchanted by the sun causing the collapse of everything that's destroying the earth.
Instruments used: Guitar, Harmonica, Slide,

White pine mountain down on earth.
White pine mountain from earth grow.
Poison floating drifting sky.
Towers smokestacks spewing out.
Great tree grows higher than the sky
Bound to the sun white pine grow.
Enchantment from the seventh wave.
Sends a pulsing power down the roots.
Towers crumble smokestacks fall.
White pine mountain down on earth.
